Wall to Floor Commode assist code handrails, are 11/4 inch in diameter. These rails have a three (3) inch stub below the floor flange, and this stub is cemented into a core-drilled floor hole. The other flange attaches to the wall with stainless steel screws. Any commode handrail that has a floor anchor that is screwed into the floor, without cemented stub, is NOT safe. All the STRESS is on the floor flange, and the anchor screws will eventually break. The Wall to Floor rail provides complete safety when transferring on and off the commode. Does require a core drill to install. SAF-T-RAIL stocks 30x30, 33x30, and 30x26. Rails are measured height by width, when ordering.
